Sweat Sweat Sweat
July 7, 2010 – 10:25 pmHmm, it must have been a while since last ‘Life’ categorized entry in this blog. Well, not much going on, I think, except work, but I won’t go into that since it would (eventually) bore you to death. But, I recently started my first -ever- workout program. For some time now I’ve been bugging Valentine that we should get a crosstrainer but we never had the spare money and he always said it would be useless anyway. His parents got one though, for their own gym, but since it is now obvious they won’t be using it, we got that one on loan.
My workout program is nothing much, 15-20 mins every other day, but it is better than the nothing I’d otherwise do. And so far I’ve stuck with it. Even as I’ve not really felt like getting on that thing, I’ve managed to do so anyways. Not regretting it and actually I’m pretty proud of myself. But I know (and this is what actually must drive to keep up with my program) that if I miss it one time, I’ll miss a few more and then some. And eventually just give up. So I have to do it every other day!
But only after such a short time, I’m starting to get better. I can excersize longer and with more resistance. Now if only I could figure out what system the monitor uses so I could actually know what is the distance I’ve ‘run’ and how fast and what my pulse actually is during work-out…
Hoping to lose another 10kg, slowly but someday. I’ve actually managed to keep the kilos from my last diet away, only gained one back although I’ve not watched my eating at all regarding snacks or sweets. I didn’t have much incentive to lose more weight then though, as I had done the diet for my wedding dress that in the end was a bit too big. I still learned about healthy eating and I try to keep it up, even more now. And strangely, I don’t get the desire to stuff my face with junk food/candy/snacks much anymore. I can look at the snack shelf at the store and just walk by.
